Petro Therm 500 is a high quality heat transfer oil (HTO) with oxidation quality, suitable for use in indirect heat transfer fluid systems. This range serves a variety of viscosity requirements and operating temperatures of -30 ° C to 320 ° C bulk oil temperature.

Application

Designed specifically for heat transfer systems

Stability of temperature and oxidation

The heat causes the hydrocarbon molecules to break loose. Large molecules separate and become smaller molecules and so on. Some turn into volatile gas, while others are unstable and polymerize into layers that are difficult to destroy or oxidize and react with oxygen. At room temperature this reaction occurs with very thick but increases dramatically as temperature increases.

Petro Therm 500 has the necessary stability to avoid this process.
